RIP Poor Sewing Machine. We Hardly Knew You.

I killed my poor sewing machine tonight. Apparently two moves and some half-hearted attempts at making things were too much for the poor motor. I'm very tempted to get a Brother from Amazon (2-Day Shipping. Woot!) But fear the frugality of seeing how much it will cost to fix before I jump ship will win out.

And what, you ask, was I working on when it conked out? A mei tai for the girls, a kercheif for the girls and a boatload of tablecloths and napkins for the girls. All cut and pinned. Well, not the napkins, but they are cut out.

So, if anyone has a suggestion for an fairly inexpensive sewing machine for a sometime sewer, let me know. :)
