Wow. I got two canned replies to my three emails sent to my Congresspeople (Senators Diane Feinstein and Barbara Boxer and Representative Harry Waxman). One just thanked me for the email and the other said that "Should the Senate consider legislation on this or similar issues, I will keep your views in mind." And it wasn't like an automated response. It took about 18 hours. I guess I'll need to make calls, too.
I'm also thinking about calling news and radio stations and the LA Times. I know other areas have
had features about this.
Have I mentioned how much this thing is upsetting me. I'm all agitated and grumpy. I'm seriously considering doing birthday shopping for the girls in January.
