This weekend as a lead up to Inauguration Day there is a country-wide push to encourage community service. Some programs are single day or weekend only, but many are on-going projects that are in desperate need of volunteers.With the economy's woes there is an ever-increasing number of people who need assistance, but fewer and fewer tax dollars available to help. We do have manpower and ingenuity at our disposal, though.
