At knitting night on Thursday i busted out my Sundog Yoke sweater and went to town. When I got home I did some math and I don't think I'm going to be able to finish with the yarn I have. i'm debating frogging it or working as far as I can and then deal with hunting down more BFL for whatever is left. (I got this from a co-op and I'm Facebook friends with the hostess and a couple participants so I might be able to score more.) Of course, this means that I won't finish on time. So why bother?
Instead I've decided to start Amelia. I have the yarn and the pattern is free and the Ravelry notes mention that the sizing is generous so I'm confident I can do the 42" and not have a problem. The notes also mention it is a quick knit and reading the pattern it seems so. There is enough "stuff" going on with the twisted rib and stockinette patches to keep me interested yet it is very simple technically and looks cute.
I'll wind the yarn tonight and get everything ready and then start tomorrow. Technically I suppose I get until December 7 to finish it.
